जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने गुरुवार को देर रात पैदल भ्रमण कर नगर निगम के वार्ड संख्या 50,51, 52 और 53 का निरीक्षण किया, इस दौरान छोटी मुखानी, वसंत विहार, गणेश विहार, जेके पुरम, रूपनगर, जज फार्म सहित कई इलाकों में स्थानीय लोगों ने जिलाधिकारी को बिजली, पानी, सिंचाई गूल, स्ट्रीट लाइट, नालियों पर अतिक्रमण सहित विभिन्न समस्याओं से अवगत कराया। डीएम ने विभागों के अधिकारियों को सभी समस्याओं के शीघ्र निराकरण के निर्देश दिए।
स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि अतिक्रमण के कारण सड़क में आवाजाही बाधित होता और जाम की समस्या बनती है, नगर पर लोगों के कब्जे के कारण कॉलोनी में जलभराव होता है। डीएम ने राजस्व विभाग, सिंचाई विभाग, नगर निगम और लोक निर्माण विभाग को सरकारी संपत्ति पर लोगों के द्वारा किए गए अतिक्रमण को चिन्हित करते हुए करवाई के निर्देश दिए।
गुरुवार देर रात जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने नगर निगम के वार्ड संख्या 50, 51, 52 और 53 में स्थानीय लोगों और अधिकारियों के साथ पैदल भ्रमण के लिए निकली। इस दौरान छोटी मुखानी बसंत बिहार में जिलाधिकारी ने देखा कि कॉलोनी में नालिया साफ नहीं की गई है।
उनमें कूड़ा और कचरा भरा हुआ है साथ ही नालियों में स्लैप ऊबड़ खाबड़ स्थिति में है जिससे दुर्घटना की संभावना है। जिस पर जिलाधिकारी ने सिंचाई विभाग और नगर निगम को नालियों की सफाई, स्लैप को व्यवस्थित करने के निर्देश दिए। उसके पश्चात जिलाधिकारी को गणेश विहार के लोगों द्वारा बताया गया कि उनके क्षेत्र में पिछले तीन दिन से लगातार पानी आ रहा है। जबकि अक्सर पेयजल किल्लत बनी रहती है।
साथ ही जल संस्थान का लाइनमैन अधिकतर नशे की हालत में रहता है। जिस पर जिलाधिकारी ने पेयजल संस्थान और नलकूप विभाग के अधिकारियों को गणेश विहार की पेयजल समस्या के तत्काल निदान के निर्देश दिए। इसके अलावा लाइनमैन को तत्काल बदलने के निर्देश दिए। इसी प्रकार रूपनगर में भी जिलाधिकारी को सिंचाई विभाग की गूल में न सिर्फ कूड़ा कचरा मिला बल्कि आस पास अतिक्रमण भी दिखा।
लोगों ने दिखाया कि नाली के बीच से पाइप डालकर फाइबर केबल डाली गई है, जिससे नाली बंद हो जाती है जलभराव होता है, जिस पर उन्होंने सिंचाई विभाग और नगर निगम को नाली की साफ सफाई करवाने और केबल एजेंसी के माध्यम से नाली से पाइप शिफ्ट करवाने के आदेश दिए और मुख्य नगर आयुक्त से कहा कि जल्द अतिक्रमण पर नोटिस देते हुए व्यवस्था सुधारने की कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए।
इस दौरान जिला अधिकारी ने कई स्थानों पर पेयजल लाइनों के लीकेज भी देखें। जिसे सड़कों पर गड्ढे भी हो गए। जिलाधिकारी ने जल संस्थान को पानी के लीकेज को बंद करने के निर्देश दिए। क्षेत्र में कई परिवारों के घर के किचन का पानी सीधा सड़क पर आ रही है ऐसे परिवारों को चिन्हित करते हुए कारवाई के निर्देश दिये। जिलाधिकारी ने अधिकारियों से कहा कि लोगों द्वारा बताई गई समस्याओं का तत्काल निराकरण किया जाए।
जज फार्म में सिंचाई विभाग को नहर की मरम्मत के साथ हो सफाई करने के निर्देश दिए। इसके लिए नगर निगम और राजस्व विभाग को संयुक्त रूप से सर्व कर कारवाई के निर्देश दिए।
स्थानीय लोगों ने लाइट, पानी, पार्क, ट्रांसफार्मर बदलवाने, अतिक्रमण हटवाने, पेड़ों की लॉपिंग के साथ कई समस्याएं जिलाधिकारी को बताई, डीएम ने साथ चल रहे विभागीय अधिकारियों की टीम को सभी समस्याओं पर तत्काल समयबद्ध रूप से कार्यवाही करने के निर्देश दिए।
मौके पर निवर्तमान मेयर डॉ जोगिंदर पाल सिंह रौतेला, नगर आयुक्त विशाल मिश्रा, ईई लोनिवि अशोक चौधरी, जलसंस्थान रविशंकर लोशाली, उप जिलाधिकारी परितोष वर्मा, उप नगर आयुक्त तुषार सैनी, तहसीलदार सचिन कुमार सहित स्थानीय जनता मौजूद रहे।
