श्री हेमकुंड साहिब गुरुद्वारा ऋषिकेश में लगाए गए रक्तदान शिविर में जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने रक्तदान किया। श्री हेमकुंड साहिब में प्रत्येक वर्ष रक्तदान शिविर आयोजित किया जाता है यह प्रथम अवसर है जब किसी उच्च अधिकारी ने शिविर का अवलोकन किया तथा रक्तदान किया।
जिलाधिकारी ने सभी चिकित्सकों से ओपीडी में जाकर भेंट की तथा इस मानव सेवा के पुण्य कार्य में सहयोग देने के लिए चिकित्सकों को सम्मान देकर उनका हौसला बढ़ाया तथा भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के आयोजनों में प्रतिभाग करने की अपेक्षा की।
जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि सरकारी सर्विस तो जनमानस के लिए कार्य करती ही है किंतु जो सामाजिक संगठन और NGO इस कार्य में आगे आते हैं तो यह बहुत ही सफल साबित होते हैं तथा उनके साथ अन्य कम्युनिटी ग्रुप भी इस कार्य में मदद के लिए आगे आते हैं, जो बहुत ही अच्छी बात है। इस प्रकार के सेवा भाव से जहां जनमानस की सेवा होती है वही इस कार्य में लोग भी जुड़ते हैं।
