मा0 सांसद ने निर्देश दिए कि सड़क सुरक्षा एवं यातायात के नियमों के परिवालन हेतु स्कूलों में बच्चों की काउंसिलिंग की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि अधिकतर दुर्घटनाओं में तेज रफ्तार एवं नशा कारण रहता है इस पर प्रभावी रोकथाम हेतु जागरूकता अभियान चलाने के साथ ही निरंतर कार्यवाही करें।

उन्होंने कहा शिकायते मिलती हैं कि स्कूली बच्चों को नशे का आदी बनाया जा रहा है, स्कूली बच्चों में नशे की प्रवृत्ति बढने तथा तेज रफ्तार से दुर्घटनाएं बढ रही है। इसको रोकना आवश्यक है जिसके लिए जागरूकता अभियान के साथ ही स्कूली बच्चों को नशे की प्रवृत्ति से बचाने हेतु अभियान चलाया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि दुर्घटना होने पर सूचितकर्ता को साथ न ले जाएं बल्कि परिजन से सम्पर्क करें, इसके लिए स्वास्थ्य विभाग एंव पुलिस को कार्यवाही के निर्देश दिए।

जिलाधिकारी सविन बसंल ने सड़क सुरक्षा समिति के अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया कि मा0 सांसद द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशों का अनुपालन कराते हुए व्यवस्थाएं बनाने के निर्देश दिए साथ ही स्कूलों में कांउसिलिंग करने तथा जागरूकता अभियान चलाने के निर्देश दिए। बैठक में बताया गया कि 01 वर्ष में 12377 लाईसेंस निलंबित किए, 130 लाईसेंस कैंसिल किए गए हैं गए हैं। सड़क सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत 45 स्थानों पर कन्वेस मिरर कर सड़क सुधारीकरण, जेब्रा क्रासिंग, स्पीडब्रेकर डिवाईडर आदि कार्य किए गए हैं।
