मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी गुरुवार को एक दिवसीय कार्यक्रम हेतु हल्द्वानी पहुंचे। सर्वप्रथम उन्होंने डॉ. सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल में जाकर बुधवार को भीमताल में हुए बस दुर्घटना में घायलों से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान अस्पताल प्रशासन को बेहतर उपचार देने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही कुमाऊं कमिश्नर दीपक रावत को सड़क हादसों को रोकने के लिए पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में सघन चेकिंग अभियान चलाने के निर्देश भी दिए।

बृहस्पतिवार को अपने प्रस्तावित कार्यक्रम में हल्द्वानी पहुंचे मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी सबसे पहले सुशीला तिवारी अस्पताल पहुंचे। जहां उन्होंने बुधवार को भीमताल में बस दुर्घटना में घायलों से मुलाकात की। उन्होंने कहा कि घायलों की हर संभव मदद की जाएगी। उन्होंने घायलों के परिजनों से भी मुलाकात की साथ ही उन्होंने गंभीर रूप से घायल लोगों को आवश्यकता अनुसार हायर सेंटर रेफर करने के भी निर्देश दिए।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि ऐसे सड़क हादसों को रोकने के लिए अन्य राज्यों से आ रही गाड़ियों के लाइसेंस की जांच और अन्य दस्तावेज की जांच संघन चेंकिंग अभियान चलाया जाएगा। साथ ही यातायात को नियंत्रण करने के लिए कुमाऊं आयुक्त दीपक रावत को जिम्मेदारी दी गई है।

गौरतलब है कि बस हादसे में 5 लोगों की मौत और गंभीर रूप से दो घायलों को एम्स ऋषिकेश हेली एम्बुलेंस के जरिए शिफ्ट किया गया। जबकि अन्य घायलों का इलाज एसटीएच में किया जा रहा है। बस दुर्घटना में मृतकों के परिजनों को 10 लाख रुपए की सहायता राशि दी जाएगी। इसमें उत्तराखंड परिवहन निगम द्वारा ₹5 लाख जबकि सड़क सुरक्षा निधि से 2 लाख और मुख्यमंत्री विवेकाधीन कोष से 3 लाख रुपए दिए जाएंगे। साथ ही गंभीर रूप से घायल व्यक्तियों को ₹3 लाख एवं सामान्य रूप से घायल व्यक्तियों को ₹15- ₹25 हजार दिए जाएंगे।
