पौड़ी गढ़वाल : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने श्रीनगर स्थित आवास विकास मैदान में आयोजित सात दिवसीय बैकुण्ठ चतुर्दशी मेला एवं विकास प्रदर्शनी- 2024 का द्वीप प्रज्वलित पर शुभारंभ किया। कमलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना के उपरांत उन्होंने कार्यक्रम स्थल पर विभागीय स्टॉल का निरीक्षण व जनसमुदाय को संबोधित किया।
गुरुवार को मुख्यमंत्री ने श्रीनगर पहुँचकर बैकुण्ठ चतुर्दशी मेला एवं विकास प्रदर्शनी- 2024 का शुभारंभ किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने विभागीय स्टॉल का निरीक्षण भी किया। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बैकुंठ चतुर्दशी पर्व पर भगवान कमलेश्वर महादेव मन्दिर में मत्था टेका। उन्होंने भगवान शिव का जलाभिषेक कर प्रदेश की सुख समृद्धि की कामना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने शिवलिंग में कमल पुष्प अर्पित किए। मंदिर के महंत श्री आशुतोष पुरी ने पूजा अर्चना सम्पन्न कराई। श्री जय दयाल संस्कृत महाविद्यालय श्रीनगर के छात्रों ने स्वास्ति वाचन किया।
मुख्य कार्यक्रम स्थल आवास विकास प्रदर्शनी मैदान में मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने श्रीनगर में बैकुंठ चतुर्दशी मेला के शुभारंभ समारोह कार्यक्रम में आए लोगों का स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन करते हुए कहा कि पतित पावनी मां अलकनंदा के तट पर स्थित इस पौराणिक धाम में आकर मुझे अत्यंत प्रसन्नता हो रही है। इस क्षेत्र के पौराणिक मंदिर हमारे राज्य की अनमोल धरोहर हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्ष हर वर्ष बैकुंठ चतुर्दशी के अवसर पर आयोजित होने वाला यह मेला देवभूमि की आस्था का प्रतीक होने के साथ ही हमारी समृद्ध परंपराओं का भी प्रतीक भी है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मैं इस मेले के आयोजक मंडल को भी साधुवाद देता हूं, क्योंकि आप लोग इस सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को नई पीढ़ी तक पहुंचाने का कार्य कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने कहा था कि 21वीं सदी का तीसरा दशक उत्तराखंड का दशक होगा और आज हमारी डबल इंजन की सरकार माननीय प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा कहे गए कथन को चरितार्थ करने के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि बद्रीनाथ धाम हो या केदारनाथ धाम, सभी जगह करोड़ों की लागत से मास्टर प्लान काम चल रहे हैं। ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना से श्रीनगर समेत पहाड़ में कनेक्टिविटी मजबूत होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने श्रीनगर क्षेत्र में चल रही योजनाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि मेडिकल कॉलेज में 25 करोड़ की लागत से 50 से अधिक बेड के क्रिटिकल केयर यूनिट का काम चल रहा है। श्रीनगर में 4.88 करोड़ की लागत से रोडवेज बस अड्डा और पार्किंग का निर्माण किया गया है। जो भी क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए जरुरी काम हैं, उनके डॉ धन सिंह प्रयासरत रहते हैं और ये काम हो भी रहे है। श्रीनगर नगर पालिका को नगर निगम में बनाकर तेजी से विकास कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बेलकंडी बिलकेदार क्षेत्र में नई टाउनशिप विकसित करने पर जोर दे रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने जिलाधिकारी डॉ० आशीष चौहान के निर्देशन पर जिला शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण संस्थान द्वारा तैयार की गई गुलदार व मानव संघर्ष न्यूनीकरण आधारित पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। गुलदार से बचाव संबंधी पहलुओं से जुड़ी यह पुस्तिका कक्षा 1 से 8 तक के छात्रों के पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल की जाएगी।
