देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी अपने जन्मदिन के अवसर पर राजपुर रोड स्थित राष्ट्रीय दृष्टि दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण संस्थान पहुंचे और दृष्टिबाधितार्थ बच्चों संग केक काटकर जन्मदिन मनाया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने बच्चों को केक खिलाया एवं उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। इस अवसर पर दृष्टिबाधितार्थ उच्चतर माध्यमिक आदर्श विद्यालय के बच्चों ने उपहार स्वरूप अपने द्वारा बनाया गया मॉडल मुख्यमंत्री को भेंट किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मुझे हर बार इस दिन पर यहां बच्चों के बीच आने का इंतजार रहता है और यहां आकर बहुत अच्छा लगता है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मैं भगवान से आप सभी बच्चों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना करता हूँ। उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है कि भविष्य में आप सभी लोग जिस किसी भी क्षेत्र में जाएंगे, वहां निश्चित ही सफलता प्राप्त पाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसा कोई कार्य नहीं है जो आप लोग नहीं कर सकते।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी दिव्यांग बच्चों की सर्वांगीण उन्नति के लिए प्रयासरत हैं। दिव्यांग शब्द भी मोदी जी द्वारा ही दिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे देश-प्रदेश की शुभकामनाएं आप बच्चों के साथ हैं।
सीएम धामी ने कहा कि इस बार हमें प्रदेश में कई स्थानों पर आपदा की चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ा रहा है। उन्होंने लोगों से अनुरोध किया कि वे आज के दिन आपदा से प्रभावित लोगों के बीच जाएं और उनकी जो सेवा, मदद हो सकती है वे करें।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पीएम मोदी ने कहा है 21 वीं सदी का यह तीसरा दशक उत्तराखंड का होगा और हम प्रधानमंत्री के शब्दों को पूरा करने के लिए पूरे जी-जान से जुटे हैं। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने संस्थान के फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट का भी बॉल पर किक मारकर शुभारंभ किया।
