पूर्व भाजपा नेता मुकेश बोरा पर विधवा महिला से दुष्कर्म और उसकी 12 साल की बेटी से छेड़छाड़ का आरोप था जिसके बाद महिला की तहरीर पर पुलिस ने बोरा के खिलाफ दुष्कर्म और पोक्सो एक्ट के अंतर्गत मुकदमा दर्ज किया था। मुकदमा दर्ज होने के बाद जब पुलिस बोरा को गिरफ्तार करने निकली तो वह फरार हो गया था जिसे बुधवार को उत्तर प्रदेश से गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक प्रहलाद नारायण मीणा ने खुलासा करते हुए बताया कि पुलिस की पांच टीमें मुकेश बोरा की तलाश कर रही थी इस बीच पुलिस ने मुकेश बोरा को भगाने वाले लोगों के खिलाफ भी मंगलवार को पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर दिया था। पुलिस ने बोरा के खिलाफ गैर जमानती वारंट जारी किया था। बोरा की गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस की टीमें यूपी, राजस्थान, पंजाब और दिल्ली में दबिश दे रही थी

इधर आरोपी मुकेश बोरा ने गिरफ्तार होते ही कहा की उसके खिलाफ राजनीति साजिश रची गई जो लोग उसे चुनाव में हारा नही पाये उन्होंने मुझे बदनाम करने की कोशिश उसने कहा कि उसे न्याय पालिका और गोलजू देवता पर पुरा भरोसा है जल्द ही सब ठीक होगा।
