जनपद में अनाधिकृत रूप से बनाए गए राशन कार्डों की जांच की प्रक्रिया 1 जून 2025 से प्रारंभ हो रही है, जो 15 जून 2025 तक चलेगी। जिला पूर्ति अधिकारी के.एस. कोहली ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इस दौरान राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा योजना (अन्त्योदय/प्राथमिक परिवार) एवं उत्तराखण्ड राज्य खाद्य योजना के तहत जारी राशन कार्डों और यूनिट्स का सर्वेक्षण, सत्यापन एवं जांच की जाएगी।

सत्यापन के दौरान अपात्र पाए गए परिवारों के राशन कार्ड निरस्त कर दिए जाएंगे और पात्र तथा आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों को योजना में सम्मिलित किया जाएगा। यह कार्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में खण्ड विकास अधिकारी एवं सहायक पंचायत विकास अधिकारी तथा शहरी क्षेत्रों में खाद्य पूर्ति निरीक्षक और अधिशासी अधिकारी नगर पालिका/पंचायत द्वारा संपन्न कराया जाएगा।

कोहली ने बताया कि ऐसे सभी उपभोक्ता, जिनकी आर्थिक स्थिति अब सुदृढ़ हो चुकी है, जिनकी मासिक आय ₹15,000 से अधिक है, परिवार में कोई सदस्य सरकारी सेवा में कार्यरत है या कोई अन्य व्यवसाय कर रहा है, वे राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा योजना के अंतर्गत अपात्र माने जाएंगे। इसी प्रकार जिन परिवारों की वार्षिक आय ₹5 लाख से अधिक है, वे उत्तराखण्ड राज्य खाद्य योजना के अंतर्गत अपात्र की श्रेणी में आएंगे।

जिला प्रशासन ने ऐसे सभी अपात्र उपभोक्ताओं से अपील की है कि वे स्वेच्छा से अपने राशन कार्ड ग्राम विकास अधिकारी, खण्ड विकास अधिकारी, पूर्ति निरीक्षक कार्यालय अथवा जिला पूर्ति कार्यालय, रुद्रप्रयाग में जमा कर दें। सत्यापन के दौरान अपात्र पाए जाने पर उनके विरुद्ध राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम 2013 एवं आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम की सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। आवश्यकता पड़ने पर प्रथम सूचना रिपोर्ट (FIR) दर्ज करने के साथ ही राशन की वसूली भी की जा सकती है।
