देहरादून: मुख्यमंत्री की प्रेरणा से जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल के निर्देशन में भिक्षावृत्ति और बाल मजदूरी में लिप्त बच्चों को रेस्क्यू करने के लिए लगातार अभियान जारी है। जिला प्रशासन की टीम ने पिछले दो दिनों में पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान पटेल नगर, राजा रोड, आईएसबीटी, तहसील चौक और डोईवाला से भिक्षावृत्ति में लिप्त 06 बच्चों को रेस्क्यू किया गया। इसमें 05 बालक और 01 बालिका शामिल है। प्रशासन की टीम अब तक 265 से अधिक बच्चों को भिक्षावृत्ति, कूडा बीनने और बाल मजदूरी से रेस्क्यू कर चुकी है।
जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने शुरू से ही भिक्षावृत्ति और बाल मजदूरी पर रोक लगाने हेतु निरंतर सख्त निर्णय लिए है। जिसके तहत प्रमुख चौक चौराहों पर होमगार्ड की तैनाती और डेडिकेटेड वाहन के साथ सक्रिय सचल टीमें शहर में निरंतर पेट्रोलिंग कर रही है। जिलाधिकारी के निर्देशन में चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन, बाल कल्याण समिति और प्रोबेशन टीम द्वारा भिक्षावृत्ति में लिप्त बच्चों को रेस्क्यू किया जा रहा है। रेस्क्यू किए गए बच्चों को बाल कल्याण समिति के समक्ष पेश किया जाता है और फिर उन्हें आश्रय और शिक्षा प्रदान कर पुनर्वासित किया जाता है।
जिला प्रोबेशन अधिकारी मीना बिष्ट ने बताया कि 25 जून को पटेल नगर, राजा रोड, आईएसबीटी और तहसील चौक में पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान भिक्षावृत्ति में लिप्त 01 बालिका और 04 बालकों को रेस्क्यू किया गया। वहीं 26 जून को डोईवाला क्षेत्र में भिक्षावृत्ति व कूडा बीनने में लिप्त 01 बालक को रेस्क्यू किया गया। बच्चों का जीडी व मेडिकल करवा कर बाल कल्याण समिति के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया। इनमें से 02 बालक व 01 बालिका को राजकीय शिशु सदन और 03 बालकों को समर्पण (खुला आश्रय) में रखवाया गया है।
जिला प्रशासन बाल श्रम और बाल भिक्षावृत्ति पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए ऐसे बच्चों को रेस्क्यू कर शिक्षा की मुख्यधारा से जोड़ने का काम कर रहा है। भिक्षावृत्ति में लिप्त बच्चों को रेस्क्यू कर निर्धारित प्रक्रिया अपनाते हुए आधुनिक इंटेंसिव केयर सेन्टर में मांइड रिफार्म हेतु रखा जाता है। जहां विशेषज्ञ द्वारा उनको संगीत, खेल, अन्य गतिविधि, कंप्यूटर के ज्ञान की आधुनिक तकनीक की जानकारी के साथ ही शिक्षा प्रदान की जाती है।
