मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आदि गौरव महोत्सव केवल एक कार्यक्रम नहीं, बल्कि जनजातीय समाज की गौरवशाली परंपराओं, वीरता, संस्कृति और आस्था का उत्सव है। ऐसे आयोजन जनजातीय कलाकारों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का मंच प्रदान करते हैं तथा समाज के अन्य वर्गों को जनजातीय समुदाय की समृद्ध कला और संस्कृति से परिचित कराते हैं।

अपने संबोधन में मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने कहा कि भगवान बिरसा मुंडा जी संघर्ष, स्वाभिमान और संगठित शक्ति के प्रतीक थे। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक समाज की सबसे कमजोर कड़ी मजबूत नहीं होती, तब तक देश वास्तविक रूप से मजबूत नहीं हो सकता।
उन्होंने कहा कि आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी की सरकार जनजातीय समाज के सम्मान और सशक्तिकरण के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा जनजातीय बजट को तीन गुना तक बढ़ाना, जनजातीय समुदाय के प्रति उनकी संवेदनशीलता का परिचायक है।
128 जनजातीय गांवों का चयन-शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य व आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण पर विशेष फोकस
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री जनजातीय उन्नत ग्राम अभियान के तहत उत्तराखंड के 128 जनजातीय गांवों को चिह्नित किया गया है, जहां आधारभूत सुविधाओं के विकास के साथ-साथ शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और आजीविका को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में विशेष कार्य किए जा रहे हैं।
राज्य सरकार द्वारा जनजातीय समाज के लिए चल रही प्रमुख पहलें
मुख्यमंत्री ने जनजातीय समुदाय के कल्याण हेतु राज्य सरकार द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों का विवरण भी साझा किया द्य उन्होंने बताया कि प्रदेश में चार एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालय कृ कालसी, मेहरावना, बाजपुर व खटीमा में संचालित हैं, पिथौरागढ़ जिले में भोटिया तथा राजी जनजाति के लिए नया एकलव्य विद्यालय खोलने हेतु केंद्र सरकार को प्रस्ताव भेजा गया है। प्राथमिक से स्नातकोत्तर तक छात्रवृत्ति योजना, जिससे हजारों जनजातीय छात्र लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं।
प्रदेश में 16 राजकीय आश्रम पद्धति विद्यालय संचालित हैं। शिक्षित बेरोजगार युवाओं के लिए 3 आईटीआई कॉलेज, तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण हेतु समर्पित हैं।
प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी के लिए निःशुल्क कोचिंग व छात्रवृत्ति, जनजातीय समाज की बेटियों के विवाह हेतु ₹50,000 अनुदान, जनजातीय कला, संस्कृति व खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए राज्य जनजाति महोत्सव व खेल महोत्सव का नियमित आयोजन,
जनजातीय शोध संस्थान के लिए ₹1 करोड़ का कॉर्पस फंड की व्यवस्था है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ये सभी प्रयास जनजातीय समाज को मुख्यधारा से जोड़ने और उनके आर्थिक, सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक विकास को सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हैं।
जनजातीय गौरव दिवस का महत्व
मुख्यमंत्री ने स्मरण कराया कि वर्ष 2021 में आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने 15 नवंबर को जनजातीय गौरव दिवस घोषित किया। यह दिवस केवल भगवान बिरसा मुंडा जी के योगदान को याद करने का ही नहीं, बल्कि जनजातीय संस्कृति और इतिहास को नई पीढ़ी तक पहुंचाने का भी अवसर है।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रदेश सरकार इस महोत्सव के आयोजन के लिए 50 लाख रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करती है ताकि जनजातीय संस्कृति का संरक्षण और विस्तार सुनिश्चित हो सके।
