भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (BIS), देहरादून शाखा द्वारा दिनांक 25 जून 2025 को होटल दीप रेज़ीडेंसी, रूड़की “मानक मंथन एवं उद्योग संवेदनशीलता कार्यक्रम” का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य दंत चिकित्सा उपकरणों से संबंधित अधिसूचित भारतीय मानकों — IS 19051:2025, IS 18951:2025 एवं IS 18101:2023 — तथा गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण आदेश (QCOs) की जानकारी उद्योग को प्रदान करना था।
मुख्य अतिथि राज्यसभा सांसद श्रीमती कल्पना सैनी ने BIS के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि गुणवत्ता और सुरक्षा एक सशक्त राष्ट्र की नींव हैं। उन्होंने सभी उद्यमियों से BIS मानकों को अपनाने एवं “मेक इन इंडिया” अभियान को मजबूती देने का आह्वान किया।
कार्यक्रम में श्री शोभराम प्रजापति, राज्य मंत्री (माटी कला बोर्ड, उत्तराखंड) एवं श्री भरत भूषण, अध्यक्ष (रुड़की स्मॉल स्केल इंडस्ट्रीज़) ने भी सहभागिता की और MSMEs को BIS प्रमाणन से होने वाले लाभों पर प्रकाश डाला।
BIS देहरादून के निदेशक एवं प्रमुख श्री सौरभ तिवारी ने सभी अतिथियों के स्वागत संबोधन करते हुए कार्यक्रम के उद्देश्य के बारे में बताया कि दंत चिकित्सा उपकरणों में मानकों का अनुपालन रोगी-सुरक्षा, जैव-संगतता और वैश्विक गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करता है। इसके अतिरिक उन्होंने जीवन रक्षक उपकरण,उन्नत निदान उपकरण,सहायक प्रौद्योगिकी के बारे में भी चर्चा की और सरल, डिजिटल और उद्योग-अनुकूल प्रमाणन प्रक्रिया के बारे में भी जानकारी दी।
कार्यक्रम में 60 से अधिक दंत उपकरण निर्माता, आपूर्तिकर्ता, एवं शैक्षणिक/सरकारी प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहे। प्रतिभागियों ने BIS विशेषज्ञों से प्रत्यक्ष संवाद कर तकनीकी मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त किया।
