ग्रामीण महिलाएं राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन से जुड़कर प्रशिक्षण लेकर आत्मनिर्भर हो रही हैं। वे योजनाओं का लाभ लेकर न केवल आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त हो रही हैं, बल्कि अन्य के लिए भी मिसाल पेश कर रही है।
इसी क्रम में विकासखंड चंबा से करीब 30 किलोमीटर दूर ग्राम पंचायत भाली में वर्ष 2019 में राष्ट्रीय आजीविका मिशन से जुड़कर ग्रामीण महिलाओं ने ‘मातृशक्ति स्वयं सहायता समूह–भाली’ का गठन किया।
जहां समूह की अध्यक्ष बनी सुनीता सजवाण ने कई ग्रामीण महिलाओं को समूह के माध्यम से कम ब्याज में ऋण दिलाकर व्यवसाय करने के लिए प्रेरित किया है, वहीं सुनीता खुद अपने पति यशपाल सजवाण के साथ मिलकर गांव से करीब 10 किलोमीटर दूर गजा मार्केट में दूध डेयरी का संचालन कर रही है। साथ ही मार्केट में चाय, पकोड़ी, समोसे, जलेबी खाद्य उत्पादों के साथ अपनी आजीविका को मजबूत कर रही है।
सुनीता सजवाण ने बताया कि जब से वह राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन से जुड़े हैं तब से उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत हुई है। आइए मिलकर सुनीता जैसे और भी ग्रामीण महिलाओं को प्रेरित करे और सशक्त बनाए।
