खटीमा: मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर चकरपुर, खटीमा स्थित वनखंडी महादेव शिव मंदिर में सपत्नीक जलाभिषेक एवं पूजा अर्चना कर प्रदेश में सुख, शांति एवं समृद्धि की कामना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने श्री वनखण्डी महादेव मंदिर में 12 दिवसीय महाशिवरात्रि मेले का भी शुभारंभ किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने श्रद्धालुओं को महाशिवरात्रि की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि भगवान भोलेनाथ की कृपा सभी पर बनी रहे। उन्होंने कहा वे कई वर्षो से महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर श्री वनखंडी महादेव शिव मंदिर में आ रहे हैं। राज्य सरकार, प्रदेश में शीतकालीन पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने पर कार्य कर रही है। शीतकालीन यात्रा का शुभारंभ उखीमठ के ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर से किया गया है। अब वर्ष भर हमारे धार्मिक स्थलों में श्रद्धालुओं आ सकेंगे, जिससे प्रदेश व क्षेत्र की जनता को सीधा लाभ मिलेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वनखण्डी मंदिर को सुन्दर डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में विकसित किया जायेगा। माँ पूर्णागिरि मंदिर में शीघ्र रोपवे, एवं टनकपुर में शारदा रिवर फ्रंट बनाया जा रहा है। जिसमें खटीमा व उसके आस पास के क्षेत्रों को रिवर फ्रंट डीपीआर में जोड़ने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हनोल क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए सरकार ने 120 करोड़ कि धनराशि दी है। सरकार द्वारा पूरे प्रदेश का समेकित विकास किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा खटीमा बस अड्डा शीघ्र तैयार होगा। टनकपुर बस अड्डे को 200 करोड़ रूपये की धनराशि से आई.एस.बी.टी बनाया जा रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में देश के अंदर धार्मिक स्थलों का कायाकल्प हुआ है। जिससे पुरे देश में धार्मिक पुनर्जागरण हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा केदारनाथ में भीषण आपदा आने से श्रद्धांलुओं का आना बहुत कम हो गया था। प्रधानमंत्री ने केदारनाथ धाम का पुनर्निर्माण कर वहां पूजा अर्चना की एवं रात्रि प्रवास किया। और अब केदारनाथ धाम में हर साल 20 लाख से भी अधिक श्रद्धांलु दर्शन करने आ रहें हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पिथौरागढ़ के आदि कैलाश, जोलीकोंग की यात्रा की, जिससे मानसखंड को भी विश्व पटल नई पहचान मिली है। उन्होंने कहा आदि कैलाश पर जाने वाले यात्री कुमाऊँ सड़क मार्ग से ही जाते है। जिससे यहाँ के सभी प्रकार के कारोबारियों को वर्ष भर रोजगार मिलेगा। मानसखण्ड योजना के अंतर्गत कुमाऊँ के सभी मंदिरों को जोड़ा जा रहा है। जिससे धार्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
कार्यक्रम में मेला समिति द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री का मंदिर सौंदर्यकरण हेतु पूर्व में 1 करोड़ रुपए की धनराशि प्रदान करने हेतु आभार व्यक्त किया। मंदिर समिति ने मुख्यमंत्री को स्मृति चिन्ह व अंगवस्त्र देकर सम्मानित भी किया।
इस दौरान नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष रमेश चंद्र जोशी, मंदिर समिति अध्यक्ष गोपाल सिंह बिष्ट, जिलाध्यक्ष कमल जिंदल, गणेश जोशी, सुधीर वर्मा, जिलाधिकारी नितिन सिंह भदौरिया, एसएसपी मणिकांत मिश्रा, एवं अन्य लोग मौजूद रहे।
