देहरादून। श्री गुरु राम राय विश्वविद्यालय के मानविकी एवं सामाजिक विज्ञान संकाय द्वारा हिंदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में कहानी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें छात्रों ने बढ़ चढ़कर प्रतिभाग किया। प्रतियोगिता में प्रिया पंवार प्रथम, रोजी द्वितीय एवं आकांक्षा तृतीय स्थान पर रहीं।

प्रतियोगी छात्रों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए मानविकी एवं सामाजिक विज्ञान संकाय की डीन प्रोफेसर डॉ गीता रावत ने कहा कि हिंदी भाषा भारत के अलग-अलग राज्यों के धर्मों, जातियों, संस्कृति, वेशभूषा व खान-पान वाले लोगों को एकता के सूत्र में बांधती है। देश को एक रखती है। इतना ही नहीं हिंदी विदेशों में बसे भारतीयों को आपस में जोड़ने का काम भी करती है। हिंदी अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों के दिलों की दूरियों को मिटाती है।

कार्यक्रम की समन्वयक हिंदी की विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. कल्पना थपलियाल रहीं। प्रतियोगिता में तीनों विजेताओ को मेडल और प्रमाण पत्र देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया। प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक मंडल में प्रोफेसर आशीष कुलश्रेष्ठ, प्रोफेसर पूजा जैन और प्रोफेसर प्रीति तिवारी शामिल रहे। इस अवसर पर डॉ प्रिया पांडे, डॉ अनुजा रोहिल्ला, डॉ गरिमा सिंह, डॉ गरिमा डिमरी, और अंजली उपस्थित रहे।
