मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि हरेला केवल एक पर्व नहीं, बल्कि प्रकृति संरक्षण, सामाजिक समरसता और उत्तराखंड की सांस्कृतिक विरासत से जुड़ने का जनआंदोलन है। उन्होंने हरेला के अवसर पर प्रदेशभर में 10 लाख पौधे लगाने के संकल्प को दोहराते हुए सभी लोगों से ‘एक पेड़ माँ के नाम’ अभियान से जुड़ने का आह्वान किया।
परेड ग्राउंड में आयोजित लोक संवर्धन पर्व के अंतर्गत हरेला उत्सव में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह पर्व प्रकृति के प्रति कृतज्ञता, लोक संस्कृति और सामाजिक एकता का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड की साझा सांस्कृतिक विरासत का उदाहरण है कि सभी वर्गों के लोग पूरे उत्साह के साथ हरेला मना रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जलवायु परिवर्तन के दौर में हरेला का संदेश पूरी दुनिया के लिए प्रासंगिक है। राज्य सरकार पर्यावरण संरक्षण और विकास के बीच संतुलन बनाते हुए कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि ‘एक पेड़ माँ के नाम’ अभियान के तहत उत्तराखंड में दो करोड़ पौधे लगाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है, जिनमें अब तक करीब 1.15 करोड़ पौधे लगाए जा चुके हैं।
धामी ने प्रसिद्ध लोकगायक नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी के योगदान की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उनके गीतों ने उत्तराखंड की लोक संस्कृति, पर्यावरण और सामाजिक सरोकारों को देश-दुनिया तक पहुंचाया है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लोक संवर्धन पर्व लोक कलाकारों, शिल्पकारों, बुनकरों और हस्तशिल्प से जुड़े कारीगरों को प्रोत्साहन देने का महत्वपूर्ण मंच है। स्थानीय उत्पादों की खरीद से सांस्कृतिक विरासत के संरक्षण के साथ हजारों परिवारों की आजीविका भी मजबूत होती है। उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों से लोक संवर्धन पर्व में भाग लेकर उत्तराखंड की लोक कला और परंपराओं को आगे बढ़ाने का आह्वान किया।
